RTRS hold an annual conference in different locations across Ireland. These conferences aim to disseminate research in rehabilitation and to provide researchers in the three therapy professions at all levels of experience from the most experienced researchers to novice researchers an opportunity to present their results. The Society welcomes new researchers such as those who have recently completed Undergraduate or Masters research projects, those undertaking research in a clinical setting who wish to present their research work, and others who may have undertaken service development/audit projects from which innovative changes to services have arisen. The RTRS provides feedback on abstract submission to all those who submit abstracts. Accepted abstracts are published in Physical Therapy Reviews Journal as part of the RTRS conference proceedings.
The RTRS 2012 Conference is to be held on Friday 25th May at University College Dublin. The title of the conference this year is: PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING ACROSS THE LIFESPAN
The call for abstracts is now out and the deadline for abstract submission is 17th February (please see conference flier below). Abstracts pertaining to research and service development projects are both welcome. Please see the links below for guidance on oral presentations (which will be 15 minutes long) and abstract writing. Once your abstract has been prepared, follow the link to submit it for review. Attendance at the conference is covered by joining the RTRS membership (form and fee details can be found through the link below).
